The NorSea Polarbase tackled the challenge of replacing their 1000W discharge lamps with energy-efficient LED floodlights. After facing issues before they found a solution from LEDVANCE where the new luminaires were not only affordable but immediately available in stock and have provided a constant luminous flux while using less electricity and lasting longer, ensuring that the base works flawlessly without any incident.

THE CHALLENGE

NorSea Polarbase faced a challenge in replacing their 1000W discharge lamps with LED products due to long response time/complaint time issues when the luminaires were not functioning properly. They tried LED luminaires from different suppliers, but they had a high price and long delivery time.

THE SOLUTION

During a visit to the LEDVANCE stand at the Eliaden exhibition in Oslo 2022, NorSea Polarbase representatives consulted with LEDVANCE's sales team, a local installer, and the District Manager for North Norway, Remi Romsdal, to propose a solution that would meet their needs and be more affordable. LEDVANCE's luminaires were immediately available in stock, and their personnel were helpful and competent, providing a significant advantage over other suppliers.

THE BENEFITS

The new LED floodlights installed at NorSea Polarbase are working well without any issues. They consume less electricity, last longer, and provide a constant luminous flux.
