LEDVANCE NAMES WOLFGANG MAILAENDER AS HEAD OF MARKETING FOR US AND CANADA

Wilmington, Mass. – Lighting leader LEDVANCE, maker of SYLVANIA general lighting products in North America, announced Wolfgang Mailaender as Head of Marketing for the company’s US and Canada region.  In this role, he is responsible for trade and retail marketing, in addition to managing the LEDVANCE and SYLVANIA brands locally, and is based in the company’s North America headquarters in Wilmington, Massachusetts.  For 20 years, Wolfgang has been with LEDVANCE and OSRAM’s general lighting business that was recently carved out to become LEDVANCE.  During those two decades, he held various marketing and sales leadership positions to support the retail and trade channels.  Prior to being with LEDVANCE and OSRAM, Wolfgang held sales, marketing and business development positions at Mars, Incorporated, the global manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products and animal care services, and Kodak, the imaging technology company.
